Mark’s first job in catering was at the then popular Neal Street Restaurant working for Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo. Whilst at Neal Street he worked on the launch of the first Carluccio’s store. This was followed by the position of Head Chef within the Ebury Group. Mark then set up his successful outside catering company, which he ran for several years. In 1997 he was given the opportunity to host a daily cookery programme for Channel 4, it ran for two series. He went on to present cookery on a wide variety of shows for all the major television networks. At the end of 2001 Mark was lured back into the kitchen to help revamp the famous Groucho Club in Soho. As Executive Chef, he worked with the team that redesigned the kitchen and the food offering.
Mark currently looks after the media and business development interests of some of Britain’s top chefs.
